sorry, but I really have to agree with TJ(TheAmazingAtheist) here. Whether the joke was uncalled for or not, you don’t have the right to punch somebody in the face simply because you don’t agree with it. That’s not okay, that puts you in the same aspect as the person saying the joke. Both this girl and the guy who was punched are in the same regards, if not the girl being worse for actually attacking the guy.

You start the game as Twilight Sparkle and traverse through six levels filled with dangerous spikes and fire-breathing dragons. All of the Mane 6 are available to play as, but you must first unlock each successive pony by completing all six levels as the previous pony. I haven’t played much of it yet, but it’s a cute game with a charming old school feel. If you have time you should definitely give it a whirl!

DUE DATE: December 22nd, Album will be released on January the 1st
MONEY: Free of charge, Charity chip-ins are always welcome
INCENTIVE: Show how much you care about yourself and others around you, you never know when this might affect you.
GENRES: Genres are all open only if they follow the guidelines of a charity album, grim-dark songs will be looked up on separatelly

The story behind it:
Surely you will ask me “Tei, this is one of your first world problems, now isn’t it? There are kids in 3rd world countries that need the money as much as we do.” for that I will say, yes there is but hear me out and why do I think that this album is worth doing, even if I need to do everything by myself and send them only my two cents. Because in the end it will be worth it.

A couple of nights ago I recieved a text message that I wasn’t expecting, nor wanting. A good friend of mine sent me a message from all the way from England. I known the lad for 7 years now. He is currently 27 years old. He used to live in the same neighborhood as me, but recently, due to his family in the U.K. he moved there. He was always the joker in our bunch, and he was loved deeply, even my mother asks me on monthly basis “How’s Jukka doing?” To which I just generally shrug and say “I think he is still alive.”

We do talk on regular basis, but due to his family and his job as a lawyer, but when we do, boy do we have a blast, even the games we play together tend to drag on to 10 hour sessions. Yes he is as a big gamer as I am or even bigger.

But two days ago he sent me a message which basically went. “Little Johan didn’t make it.” Those few words caught me by surprise and I was in a state of shock. I knew Johan had cancer since he was a lot younger. Johan who was now 7, had passed away in Sheffield U.K. Childrens Hospital. Johan was a bright kid and I remember seeing him visit Finland, while Jukka was on vacation and wanted to visit Finland few years back. That summer was really hot and Johan had so much fun swimming in the beautiful lakes of Saimaa, but on 24th of June his travel ended, in a fight against cancer, leaving all his family and friends behind.

I called Jukka and we spent the whole night talking about it, I could hear that he was in tears and the loss was heavy, he mentioned the fact that Johan the very day before was playing games that the hospital provided him, to pass up the time, games such as Ratchet and Clank and so on and he had a blast. Johan was almost too eager to go bed since he wanted so bad to beat the level he was on, guess the gamer genes of his nerdy dad do inherit.

That’s when it hit me. Sheffield was one of those Child’s Play hospitals, to which the charity has brought games and joy to the kids who have to stay there. We agreed with Jukka, that it was a blessing from us the gamer’s and the game industry to remember the sick kids who are trapped in a 10x10 room with nothing better to do.

Jukka was relieved that Johan’s pain was finally over but still the loss has taken a lot from him.

I could hear from his words that he was happy that Johan was happy till the end and didn’t know sorrow.

That was when it hit me. As a token of gratitude I wanted to thank the people at http://www.childsplaycharity.org/ even though I didn’t have any power to do anything at the start, I’ve been boiling this idea down, and this is the way I want to do it.

A charity album, to a greater cause, to which I ask your people’s help. If you want to help / contribute to the album, you are free to do so. 100% of the money will go straight to the charity itself.

I’m sorry I’m a really bad spokes person and I’m still trying to come up with ways to handle all this.

If you want to participate what you need to do:
1. Be interested in the project and submit your work to the album
2. When you have done a demo / teaser, send me a message over the forums, or via my personal skype which is by the handle “tundrasaurus” (for now)
3. When you want to release a track, release the teaser but not the actual song, Songs can be released on the 1st of January of 2013, when the album is released.
4. When you have the final version send a private message to me a message over the forums, or via my personal skype which is by the handle “tundrasaurus” (for now)
5. Provide me a link to your Youtube/soundcloud/whatever for the artist linking.
